Installing ShowShifter
Any e-mail address information collected when ShowShifter is installed is solely for Home Media Networks’ own use.
E-mail addresses will not be sold or passed onto 3rd parties. Two follow up emails are sent whenever the trial version of ShowShifter is installed, but no further emails will be sent unless the user explicitly agrees to it in the ShowShifter install.
Purchasing ShowShifter

Support/Crash Reporting
Our products have built-in capabilities to collect data whenever the
software goes wrong or whenever you submit a support report.
System specific information is collected solely for the purpose of
assisting us in correcting the problems encountered in our products.

has been confirmed and corrected by our engineers.
Nor do we disclose any of this information to 3rd parties.
Check for newer versions
Our products have built-in capabilities to contact our webservers
and check for newer versions of installed software.
During this process the following items are sent back to our servers:
name, email, company, registration, product, installed version of
product, and affiliate ID.
This information is never disclosed to any third parties.

user explicitly agrees to this in the ShowShifter install.
Running version 1.55 or 1.61
Each time one of these versions is run, the following items are sent back to our servers:
name, email, company, registration, product, installed version of
product, affiliate ID, number of times run, number of times information was sent.
This information is never disclosed to any third parties and is for statistical purposes only.
Name and email address will be added to a mailing list only when the
user explicitly agrees to this in the ShowShifter install.
Public Forums
This site makes chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups
available to its users.
Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas
becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding
to disclose your personal information.
Choice/Opt-Out
Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications
from us and our partners at the point where we request information
